On 21 October 2022, the town of Elin Pelin hosted the regional conference “Municipal Spatial Plans – a Mechanism for Modern Management of Municipal Territories”. The NT3 Consult team took part in the event as part of the professional exchange on spatial and territorial planning.
The conference was organised by Elin Pelin Municipality, the Sofia Regional Administration and the Sofia Region chapter of the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria. It brought together architects, planners, local-government representatives and specialists involved in territorial management.
Discussions addressed the preparation, approval and implementation of municipal spatial plans, the alignment of strategic and spatial-planning documents, the regulatory framework and the use of geographic information systems. Particular attention was given to a long-term approach to infrastructure, public spaces and municipal development.
For NT3 Consult, the conference provided an opportunity to exchange experience and ideas for stronger cooperation between experts and institutions. We believe that sustainable territorial development depends on sound professional analysis, a clear vision and consistent engagement with local communities.
