Integrated Development Plan of Asenovgrad Municipality

Participation in the development of the graphic and illustrative materials for the Integrated Development Plan of Asenovgrad Municipality for the 2021–2027 period. Thematic diagrams were developed presenting the spatial distribution of the priority impact zones and the main development directions of the territory. A Geographic Information System (GIS) was used in preparing the diagrams for data processing and spatial visualisation.

As part of the work on the Integrated Development Plan, diagrams were developed presenting various aspects of the spatial development of Asenovgrad Municipality. As an example of the materials developed, a diagram of the priority impact zones is presented, visualising seven zones with different functional profiles — "Economic", "Sport", "Recreation", "Residential Zone", "Urban Core", "Traditional Spirit and Culture" and "Landmarks and Tourism". The main urban zones are located within the town of Asenovgrad, while the "Landmarks and Tourism" zone covers the area around the village of Mostovo and is linked to the municipality's natural and tourism resources. The diagram also presents the corresponding priorities and impact measures for the individual zones.

The diagrams developed provide a clear and legible spatial presentation of the priority zones and the main development directions of Asenovgrad Municipality. They support the visual understanding of the territory's functional distribution and its various development potentials — economic, sporting, recreational, residential, cultural and touristic. The graphic materials contribute to a comprehensive and consistent presentation of the spatial information in the Integrated Development Plan.
