General Spatial Development Plan of Elin Pelin Municipality

Participation in the entire process of developing the General Spatial Development Plan of Elin Pelin Municipality through teamwork with "ATEK – VD" EOOD. The work included research and analysis of the territory, assessment of the existing condition and development potential, participation in spatial and land-use planning, and development of the necessary graphic and text materials.

During the development process, a comprehensive study of the territory of Elin Pelin Municipality was carried out, including analysis of the natural, demographic, socio-economic, infrastructural and planning characteristics. The existing spatial structure, settlements, transport and technical infrastructure, natural resources, and development constraints and potential were examined. Based on the research and analyses performed, participation took place in developing the spatial and planning proposals, as well as the necessary graphic and text materials for the plan. The work was carried out through coordination and teamwork between the two teams.

An up-to-date spatial and planning foundation was created for the balanced and sustainable development of Elin Pelin Municipality. The General Spatial Development Plan assists the municipality in managing and developing the territory, determining the appropriate designation and layout of the various zones, and guiding future investment development. The plan creates the necessary foundation for subsequent detailed planning, while also supporting the combination of tourism, infrastructure and economic development with the protection and sustainable use of natural resources and cultural heritage.
