General Spatial Development Plan of Elena Municipality

Participation in the entire process of developing the General Spatial Development Plan of Elena Municipality as an Urban Planner expert. The activity includes study and analysis of the existing spatial and functional structure of the municipality, research into the settlement network, urban processes, transport connectivity and potential for territorial development. The participation covers the development of urban planning proposals, conceptual solutions and graphic materials related to the functional organisation and future development of the territory.

The expert participation covers various aspects of urban planning study and design related to the overall territorial organisation of Elena Municipality. The existing settlement structure, the functional interrelations between settlements, the hierarchy of administrative and service centres, transport accessibility and communication corridors were examined. The development opportunities of individual territories were studied in view of their natural, economic and tourism characteristics. The participation includes the development of planning proposals, functional and spatial solutions, and graphic materials illustrating the main provisions of the plan.

The studies, analyses and design work prepared contribute to forming a comprehensive urban model for the development of Elena Municipality. The proposed spatial solutions create preconditions for balanced development of settlements, better functional organisation of the territory and improved internal and external connectivity of the municipality. The work supports the definition of long-term planning directions and provides a basis for sustainable territorial development.
